All of this data helps conservation experts map species distributions and monitor long-term changes across Canada. They can reveal shifts in migration or hibernation patterns, changes in flowering timelines or variations in fruit and seed production — all potential signs that climate change is affecting plants and wildlife. The more we know about nature, the more we can support it.
